The Office of Management (OM) provides guidance, resources, and infrastructure critical to supporting the OIG’s mission and operations. Among its activities, OM ensures that the OIG’s resources are managed effectively and efficiently.

OM delivers five major services: 

  1. Financial Management including resource management, budget formulation and execution, financial reporting, travel, and Federal travel and credit card programs. 
  2. Human Capital Management including recruiting and hiring, personnel actions, personnel security, employee benefits and retirement, employee relations, executive resources, employee health and wellness programs, and related activities. 
  3. Information Technology including information security and technology resources and support for OIG users.
  4. Facilities and Operations Support for OIG facilities across the United States.
  5. Procurement including acquisitions and contracting services.
